Your Journey to Wellness Starts Here

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is form of medicine that utilises manual therapy, exercise and lifestyle modification to remove obstacles to health. Osteopaths use massage, joint manipulation, neuromuscular techniques, gentle cranial Osteopathy and various other hands on methods along side education in health, lifestyle, nutrition and exercise to help people from all walks of life and ages. I also integrate health and wellness coaching into my practice to help people take control of their health and achieve their goals.

Osteopaths treat patients with all kinds of symptoms and are primary healthcare providers recognised as allied health practitioners (AHP) by the NHS. Patients often present to us with:

  • Joint pain
  • Back pain
  • Muscle strains
  • Ligament injuries
  • Headaches/migraine
  • Arthritis
  • Sporting injuries
  • Stress related tension
  • Postural complaints
  • Pre and post surgical treatment

And plenty more...

Osteopathy is also very useful for general health maintenance and prevention of illness. People often have regular appointments with their Osteopath to stay well.
